For example, we will create a user account for you when you register as a new bidder to participate in an Auction. We collect Personal Information and Usage Information from you when you create and complete the bidder registration form to participate in an Auction.<\/p> <\/p> We may from time to time send you an email newsletter or other email communication with information about one or more of our Web Properties. You can also sign up to receive alerts about upcoming or current Auctions (\u201cAuction Alerts<\/u>\u201d). Our Auction Alerts can alert you when you are outbid in a specific Auction (emails will only be sent if the item has more than 30 minutes remaining in that Auction).<\/p> <\/u><\/strong><\/p> Personal Information Collected by Divisions<\/u><\/strong><\/p> <\/u><\/strong><\/p> In many cases that PCI Auctions receives Personal Information, we receive your information from independently owned and operated divisions of PCI Auctions who have entered into license agreements with us (\u201cDivisions<\/u>\u201d). You may be connected to one or more of these Divisions by using our Web Properties. The Divisions may collect or receive Personal Information about or from you, including instances where the sole purpose of collecting such information is so you can participate in an Auction. In such cases, the privacy notices of those Divisions shall apply, and you should refer to those privacy notices and\/or contact the Divisions to understand how your Personal Information will be used by such Divisions. We are not responsible or liable for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third parties.<\/p> <\/u><\/strong><\/p> Additional Ways Usage Information is Collected<\/u><\/strong><\/p> <\/p> We may also collect Usage Information from you in the following ways:<\/p> <\/strong><\/p> Browser Log Files. <\/strong>Our servers automatically log each visitor to the Web Properties and collect and record certain browsing information about each visitor. When you register with PCI Auctions, you will receive your bidder number via an automatically generated email, and you can use your bidder number to create a password and to log in to enter an Auction. We use reasonable precautions to protect the privacy of your password and user account information and to ensure that information collected through the Web Properties is not lost, misused or altered inappropriately by administering security measures. You are ultimately responsible for protecting your password and account information from disclosure to third parties, and you are not permitted to circumvent the use of required encryption technologies.<\/p> <\/p> While we may provide certain encryption technologies and use other reasonable precautions to protect your confidential information and provide suitable security, we do not and cannot guarantee or warrant that any information transmitted through the Internet is secure, or that such transmissions are free from delay, interruption, interception or error.<\/p> <\/p> Information from Children<\/u><\/strong><\/p> <\/p> The Web Properties are meant for adults.
