Because the evaporator and condenser fan motors are electronically commutated, the motors move a consistent volume of air while producing little heat, and this optimized design reduces energy consumption and provides motor reliability. Due to the condensing unit's low positioning, it stays within reach for convenient maintenance, and the compressor runs in the coolest, most grease-free area of the kitchen, freeing up storage space on top of the unit.
When the unit's compressor is turned on, the condensing fan motor moves air in an opposite direction for 20 seconds to help clean off the condensing coil's surface. A consistenly clean coil can better maintain product temperature, and it uses less energy to operate. This technology works best alongside general preventive maintenance practices.
